Our fully functional X-ray department enables us to take X-rays in the office rather than sending the patient to the hospital or X-ray facility. Diagnosis is quicker, more convenient, and in most cases, less expensive than in other facilities.
Having X-rays available on site enables us to diagnose a wider range of injuries and provide more thorough care to the patient.
We are able to X-ray virtually any area of the body; for example: chest, ankle, low-back, and sinus X-rays. Your X-ray will be reviewed with you at the time of your office visit so that the proper treatment can begin immediately.
All of our X-rays are reviewed by a radiologist (an expert in interpreting X-rays) so that the highest level of service can be provided to the patient.
Females who are, or may be pregnant, must inform the X-ray technician at the time of your X-ray so that proper precautions can be taken. Most experts believe that the small dose of radiation used in standard X-rays is too small to cause injury to a developing fetus; however, we will discuss the benefits and risks of performing X-rays if you are pregnant.
